The seminar will be led by Supreme Court Judge Nino Bakakuri.
Georgian Lawyers for an Independent Profession, together with the Legal Profession Development Center and the Georgian Association of Women Auditors and Lawyers, are organizing a training seminar titled "Issues in Entrepreneurial Dispute Resolution" from September 5 to 7, 2025.
The seminar will be led by Nino Bakakuri, Judge of the Supreme Court of Georgia (2014-2024).
Topics covered at the event will include:
• Key aspects of the Law on Entrepreneurs and judicial decisions regarding entrepreneurial disputes;
• Director’s liability and corporate veil;
• Derivative claims and their peculiarities in review;
• Exclusion of partners from enterprise and procedural specifics;
• Minority partner rights and their enforcement mechanisms;
• Director’s dismissal procedures and consequences.

On June 7, 2026, a public lecture on medical error and physician liability was successfully conducted at Ilia State University. The lecture was delivered by Nino Lipartia, Doctor of Law and specialist in medical law. The event was interactive and organized by Ilia State University's Law and Freedom Club in cooperation with "Lawyers of Georgia for Independent Profession."
