Dear Colleagues,
GLIP was founded on a simple but fundamental idea: a strong legal profession begins with independence, professional excellence, and a commitment to supporting one another.
Today, being a lawyer means much more than knowing the law. It requires continuous professional development, access to international experience, practical knowledge, and a professional environment in which independence, integrity, and professional dignity are respected.
This is what GLIP is here to build.
Why choose GLIP?
Because we connect professional education with practice.
Our educational activities go beyond theoretical knowledge. We focus on real cases, judicial practice, professional challenges, and the issues lawyers encounter in their everyday work. We believe that effective professional development must be practical, relevant, and directly applicable.
Because we connect Georgian lawyers with the international legal community.
GLIP has developed cooperation with the European Law Institute, IRZ, international universities, and European legal institutions. Through these partnerships, our members have opportunities to gain international experience and, equally importantly, to contribute Georgian perspectives to broader professional discussions.
Our study visits and professional exchanges in Vienna, Strasbourg, Hamburg, and other European legal centres, as well as participation in international conferences and specialised programmes, help strengthen the connection between Georgian legal practice and the wider international legal community.

The future of the legal profession depends on creating meaningful opportunities for young lawyers. GLIP seeks to provide young professionals with access to knowledge, experience, international opportunities, and a strong professional network from the early stages of their careers.
