Training on Current Criminal Law Issues - June 14

Georgian Lawyers for an Independent Profession and the Legal Profession Development Center invite you to a professional training covering current and significant issues in criminal law. The training will take place on June 14 from 11:00 to 17:00. Speaker: Judge Badri Kochlamazashvili, Tbilisi Appellate Court. Participants will discuss: • The nature, objectives, and subjects of official (public service) crimes; • Specific types of official crimes and their distinction from related offenses; • The latest practices and standards of Georgian courts on official crime cases; • Standards of the European Court of Human Rights (Strasbourg Court); • Other relevant topics in criminal justice, including domestic violence, sexual offenses, and economic crimes.
