Study Visit of Georgian Lawyers to Malta for Intellectual Property Mediation Conference

Georgian Lawyers for an Independent Profession, the Legal Profession Development Centre, and the Georgian Association of Women Auditors and Lawyers are organizing a study visit to Malta from October 14 to 19, 2025. On October 16-17, 2025, invited by the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the participants will join the Intellectual Property Mediation Conference. This wide-scale international event will bring together intellectual property experts, practicing lawyers, judges, business sector representatives, mediators, and academics from around the world. Key topics to be discussed include alternative dispute resolution methods, the role of mediation in business, best practices in IP mediation, comparative analysis, artificial intelligence and IP mediation, data processing, and more. This event will promote the development of Georgia's intellectual property system and alternative dispute resolution methods and mechanisms.
