Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession
Members of Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession (GLIP) are on a training visit in Hamburg, Germany from December 10-13 of this year. The event is implemented with the support of the International Legal German Foundation (IRZ).
The training visit addresses selected administrative, civil, and criminal legal problematic issues.
This event represents a long-standing cooperation between GLIP and IRZ. Its goal is to share German court practices with members of the Georgian delegation. German judges will share with their Georgian colleagues the specifics of trial proceedings and important prerequisites for decision-making within administrative, civil, and criminal legal proceedings.
Within the framework of professional dialogue, first and foremost, fundamental procedural issues are discussed, as well as specific aspects of state liability, competition, medical and construction law.
This will contribute to the professional development of lawyers in these fields. It will ensure not only the better professionalism of the lawyer corps but also the judicial corps. All of this should overall contribute to the improvement of the application of law.
