On June 23, 2026, member lawyers from Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession visited The Hague Academy of International Law, which is one of the world's most prestigious educational centers in the field of international public and private law. The Academy was founded in 1923 and is located in the Peace Palace in The Hague. During the visit, members of the organization attended a lecture about the Academy’s structure, activities, and current educational programs. It is notable that the Academy is not a university and does not confer full academic degrees such as LL.M. or PhD. Its main activity is conducting intensive teaching programs in international law led by the world’s leading professors, judges, diplomats, and practitioners.
