Organized by Georgian Advocates for Independent Profession and the Legal Profession Development Center, a study visit took place in August 2025 to the 29th World Congress on Medical Law. The congress addressed current medical law issues and included Georgian delegates Nino Lipartia and Joseb Gabaraevi as speakers.
Georgian Advocates for Independent Profession, together with the Legal Profession Development Center, organized a study visit from August 3-9, 2025, to participate in the 29th annual World Congress on Medical Law.
The World Association for Medical Law (WAML) annually hosts the World Congress on Medical Law, addressing current topics in medical law.
At the 2025 Congress, Georgian Advocates for Independent Profession was represented with a presentation by chairwoman Nino Lipartia and criminal law division head, member of the same organization, Joseb Gabaraevi.
The congress was held in Istanbul, Turkey, from August 5 to 8, 2025.

Nino Lipartia, Chairperson of Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession, participates in the 30th World Congress of the World Association for Medical Law and presents a scientific paper on medical negligence challenges in the age of AI.
GLIP participated in the Antwerp congress, where Professor Nino Lipartia was appointed WAML National Representative for Georgia and Georgian medical-law presentations were delivered.
From August 5-7, 2026, the 30th Annual World Congress for Medical Law was held in Antwerp, Belgium, featuring a presentation by GLIP Board member Lawyer Ioseb Gabaraev on criminal aspects of healthcare fraud.
