Lawyers of Georgia for Independent Profession
The annual medical law congress was held organized by Lawyers of Georgia for Independent Profession and Health Federation of Georgia.
Tea Giorgadze, Deputy Minister of Health, participated in the "Annual Medical Law Congress."
At the meeting, representatives of the medical sector and scientific community, judges, and lawyers discussed problematic and current issues in medical law.
They discussed issues of patient-doctor relationships, medical disputes, the right of patient autonomy, standards for protecting a doctor's professional reputation, and modern challenges in providing medical services.
In her speech at the congress, the Deputy Minister of Health noted that an effective strategy can be developed through joint work of representatives from both the medical and legal fields, to ensure the rights of both patients and doctors.
