Workshop on Labor Relations Organized by Georgian Lawyers for an Independent Profession and Partners

On July 4, 2025, a workshop on labor relations was held organized by Georgian Lawyers for an Independent Profession (GLIP), the UN Global Compact Georgia Network, and the Legal Profession Development Center (LPDC), with financial support from Sweden. The event featured speakers Tamar Khazhomia, Judge of Tbilisi City Court, and Nino Lipartia, GLIP Board Chair and legal expert.
On July 4, 2025, a meeting took place in Georgia organized by Georgian Lawyers for an Independent Profession (GLIP), the UN Global Compact Georgia Network, and the Legal Profession Development Center (LPDC) as part of the "Leadership for Sustainable Development in Georgia" project, financially supported by Sweden.
The workshop was held within the framework of the UN Global Compact Georgia Network's Labor Action Platform in partnership with GLIP and LPDC.
Key speakers at the event included:
- Tamar Khazhomia, Judge of the Tbilisi City Court, who presented on the topic: "Grounds for Termination of Labor Relations and Judicial Practice Trends".
- Nino Lipartia, attorney, Doctor of Law, professor, and Chairperson of the GLIP Board, who spoke on: "The Procedure for Termination of Labor Relations and the Burden of Proof".
The workshop addressed legal aspects of labor relations, judicial practice tendencies, and procedural matters related to labor law.
