From October 10-12, 2025, a training seminar on criminal law will be held organized by the Lawyers of Georgia for Independent Practice, the Center for Legal Profession Development, and the Association of Georgian Women Auditors and Lawyers.

📢 A training seminar titled "Current Issues in Criminal Law and Court Practice" will take place from October 10 to 12, 2025, hosted by a special group of organizers. 🏛 Organizers:
  • Lawyers of Georgia for Independent Practice
  • Center for Legal Profession Development
  • Association of Georgian Women Auditors and Lawyers
🎙 The seminar will be led by Irina Chochia, a prosecutor in the Department of Procedural Leadership at the General Prosecutor's Office of Georgia. 🔎 Seminar topics include:
  • New regulations and court practice regarding drug-related crimes
  • Issues related to cannabis and marijuana under the Criminal Code
  • Legal regulation and current trends of the "thief world"
  • Legal and technical issues of cybercrime
  • Digital evidence, covert investigative activities, and international cooperation
