Participants took part in the international conference "Intellectual Property Judicial Practice 2024."

Organized by Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession and the Legal Profession Development Center, an educational visit took place from April 24 to May 1, 2024, to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

Within the visit, participants attended the international conference “Intellectual Property Judicial Practice 2024” by special invitation.

During the conference, judges of the General Court of the European Union, representatives of the European Commission, members and chairpersons of the Appeal Board of the EUIPO presented and discussed legislative changes and future reforms in the field, as well as important court decisions related to trademarks and designs.

Notably, the conference proceedings were officially and fully simultaneously interpreted into Spanish, German and French, and specifically for GLIP guests, full simultaneous interpretation into Georgian was provided by intellectual property law expert Ana Dalakishvili.
