Nino Lipartia Nominated for Special Academic and Practical Contribution to Law – 2025

Nino Lipartia, Chairman of the Board of Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession, has been nominated by the Leader Women Society in the nomination category "Special Academic and Practical Contribution to the Field of Law – 2025". Nino Lipartia holds a PhD in law, is a practicing lawyer and professor. She graduated with honors from the master's program at Tbilisi State University in 2019 and earned her doctoral degree from the same university in the same year. Since 2020, she has been a professor at Grigol Robakidze University’s School of Law and since 2013, a visiting professor at Ilia State University’s School of Law. Apart from academic and teaching activities, she has practiced law since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, she practiced at David Eristavi's Legal Group and from 2011 to 2024 she served as head of the legal department at SS Ardi Insurance. Since 2018, she has served as Chairman of the Board of Georgian Lawyers for Independent Profession and Director of the Legal Profession Development Center. Under her leadership, numerous local and international projects aimed at professional development and strengthening of lawyers and practicing legal professionals have been implemented. Since 2022, she leads her own legal office and since 2024 is the head of the Medical Disputes Center. She has received various scholarships, including from the International Academy of Paris, Central European University, Prague Mediation Academy, Xiamen International Law Academy, and Singapore Arbitration Academy. Nino Lipartia is the author and co-author of several scientific publications. In December 2024, she was elected as a board member of the UN Global Compact Georgia Network.
